
Ms. Franklin is a Virginia state–licensed
educator. She is certified by the Center for
Effective Reading Instruction as a Certified Structured Literacy
Classroom Teacher (C-SLCT) with experience in both traditional
classroom and private education settings. She holds a B.A. in
Political Science with a minor in English from Virginia Tech, and
a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from
American College of Education.
Guided by the belief that every learner deserves clear, structured, and responsive instruction, Ms.
Franklin is completing advanced multisensory structured language coursework and training through
the Neuhaus Education Center and the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center. She brings a
thoughtful, research-aligned approach to her practice, specializing in targeted support for students
experiencing challenges in reading, writing, and math. Her work reflects a deep commitment to
helping students build confidence, develop essential skills, and experience meaningful academic
growth.
A lifelong learner at heart, Ms. Franklin brings that same curiosity to her personal life, where she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling with her family.
